Europes top 5 beaches

Stressed out and worn down by the pressures of everyday life? You may find that all you really need to do is put yourself first for once by packing your passport, European Health Card (commonly known as an EHIC) and other holiday essentials and just getting away from it all! You can do that by booking a trip away for a total change of culture and environment. So, if things are getting on top of you, why not treat yourself to some well-deserved relaxation time? One of the best ways to do this is a beach holiday and you have a great choice of destinations, not too far away! Perhaps you want to top up your tan, wiggle your toes in the sand, read a good book or just generally unwind and recharge your batteries. There are some great places to go, so to help you out we wanted to let you know about our top five beaches in Europe that we think you really need to visit. Those that are, in our opinion, the crme de la crme.
1

Oludeniz Beach

Considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, not just in Europe, this is definitely one for you to consider. Oludeniz is situated on the Turquoise Coast of South-western Turkey. With such a beautiful small village and calm aquamarine waters, it is the ideal place to relax.

Praia Marinha Beach

There are many stunning beaches to visit in Portugal. However, the Praia de Marinha is one of the very best. In 1998 it was awarded the golden Beach award. Not surprising when you witness the perfect still waters and incredible cliffs. Idyllically situated on the Atlantic Coast in Caramujeira, this truly is one of the most stunning beaches Europe has to offer.

Zlatni Rat Beach

More commonly known as the Golden Horn, The Zlatni Rat is a mile-long walk from the Croatian harbour town of Bol. The Croatian region of Dalmatia is growing increasingly popular, and attracts many owners of luxury yachts every year. It really is a gorgeous area of Europe.
2

Navagio Beach

Greece is an incredibly popular tourist destination year after year. Not only are the beaches stunning, there is also a very vibrant nightlife to be enjoyed. Often referred to as Smugglers Cove; Navagio Beach is quite possibly the most stunning beach of all. With its white sands, limestone cliffs and amazingly clear water, its not surprising this beach attracts more and more visitors every year.

Calo des Moro

If you are looking for more of an adventurous holiday, why not visit the Calo des Moro. Situated in Mallorca, Spain, their waters are so clear you can enjoy scuba diving almost all year around. Remember to take all of the worry out of your holiday by getting yourself a European Health Insurance Card. No matter how relaxing or chilled you plan on making your holiday, its always worth having an EHIC so that youre covered should you or anyone youre travelling with need medical assistance. Unfortunately, accidents do still happen and you can relax easier knowing youre covered.
