A little Holiday money cant hurt

For any of you computer-savvy individuals out there, you will be well aware that there is a whole world available online for you to either make a saving on your everyday purchases or even make a full-time career earning a large income. While sites like Quidco and TopCashback are a great way to make small and regular savings, the real changes tend to happen a little bit more around the Investing side from changing Bank Accounts to Credit Cards and even Spread Betting or Trading.

Now by no means can anyone guarantee that any of these can help you increase your holiday budgets enough to make a huge difference, unfortunately the only real way to do that is to get a loan or a second job, but the potential to make a decent sum is there if you know what you are doing. So, lets run through some of the ways you can make some extra holiday cash.

1) Many people have overlooked the recent Oil price drops and just enjoyed cheaper motor costs, but changing your energy provider can save you hundreds per year. Whats more if you pay a monthly Direct Debit like most, the amount can be reduced exponentially for some meaning instant savings to your pocket

2) For any Brits recently, they will have suffered at the hands of the Brexit scare and found that the Pound doesnt seem to stretch as far against the Dollar and Euro. While this may settle down over the year, an impending US rate rise again in April will probably destabilise the value of the Dollar against commodities like Gold so hold on to any jewellery you want to sell or maybe buy some more as it may yield short-term but reasonable profits.

3) Spread Betting and Trading may seem foreign to most but using the principle is easy, namely to predict which way the market will go on any particular trade. For example, with the upcoming release of the new iPhone the value of Apple stocks could decrease but will most likely increase. A small bet on the Stock value going up could yield quick returns for all, and remember to put a stop loss in place to ensure you dont lose anything more than you want.

4) While we said Cashback sites tend to be small cash, if you are doing lots of excursions on your trip, they can be a good help. Everything from flights to coaches, tours to car hire and more has the potential to earn you back a small percentage on what you spend so dont be afraid to search the internet for some last minute deals or cash back money back options.

So there you have it just a short list but valuable if you try it properly. Let us know how you get on and feel free to share any of your own tips for others to read.
